About MeThis is currently my 14th year at C.M.H.S.
I grew up in Round Lake, Illinois (a northern suburb of Chicago, almost to Wisconsin). When I graduated from high school, I attended Monmouth College in western Illinois, about 1/2 hour north from Western Illinois University. I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Learning Disabilities in 2002. I graduated from Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville with two Master's Degrees in Educational Technology in May 2008 and Special Education in May 2013. I moved to Bethalto schools in 2004 after teaching middle school special education for 2 years in a small northern Illinois town, called Wauconda.. I have been married for 8 years and have a beautiful daughter named Genevieve, who was born in June, 2013 For the 2017-208 school year, I will be co-teaching the following classes: Earth Science with Miss Rogers English 2 with and will be teaching the following classes: Career Development Basic Economics and Basic Health In addition to teaching these classes, I am the STEP (Secondary Transition Experience Program) cooperative work program coordinator, as well as the adviser for the Corner Cafe located in the CMHS library.
